Start on Light Command - In this mode the runner begins to run and the Sonic Timer starts timing the moment a pulse of light is emitted by the computer.
Start on Movement - In this mode the Sonic Timer begins to time the runner when his/her hand or foot has been lifted from the switch pad at the starting position. When the runner passes a Sonic beam the timing will stop.
